Sunnyside Farms

Sunny Side Farms is owned and operated by Hugh French, a fourth generation farmer. His sons, Rob and Hugh Jr. along with the grandchildren will help to continue the legacy. It is located in Cumberland Va. about 150 miles southwest of Washington, DC. The sprawling 120 acres is a decade long farm but was not used for vegetable farming until 1984. Sunnyside Farms achieved GAP certification in 2010 with the continued belief in sustainable farming. Their crops include strawberries asparagus, sweet potatoes, eggplant, zucchini, squash, okra, cucumbers, greens and forty different types of tomatoes and peppers.
