Virginia Produce Company

Virginia Produce Company, Inc., founded by Moir Beamer, officially opened its doors in Carroll County Virginia in June 2002, but the Beamer family has been in the produce industry since the 1920’s. Our farm management program dates back over 20 years, with origins in South Carolina. VPC began with only 2 farms in the state of Virginia, but today assists approximately 43 farms from Florida to Virginia–nearly 50% of those farms are based in the state of Virginia.  VPC has developed a longstanding history of helping people with full time jobs and part time farms become full time farming families.

With our founding principles of Safety, Integrity and a Commitment to Excellence securely in place,   VPC will continue to grow with the 4th generation of Beamer’s at the helm. In May 2013, Moir’s son, Kevin Beamer took over as President of Virginia Produce Company. With his sister, Jennifer Beamer Hawks as VP of Finance and Administration and his dad still managing Sales and Procurement.
